Nasreen KhaderHyderabad City Head

Nasreen is the City Head for ISLI, Hyderabad. She has spent over 20 years working in the field of education in various capacities. Nasreen started her career as a school teacher and also worked with companies like Educomp, where she coordinated the Intel Teach, Dell Youth Connect, World Links and Teacher Training in Collaboration with Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Most recently she worked as the Learning Expert with English Helper. Nasreen has a B.A (Hons) Degree in Sociology from Jesus and Mary College New Delhi. Nasreen loves cooking and plans to publish a cookbook when she retires. She spends every free minute she gets pottering around in her garden.

Rahul RainaProgramme Manager

A big believer in collective action, Rahul comes from the northernmost part of India. Rahul started his career with Accenture and then became a fellow with Teach for India. Rahul fits the role at ISLI with himself having led a school in rural Maharashtra wherein he learnt about developing team culture, community engagement and developed keen interest in Early Childhood education. When not working, Rahul enjoys creating things from waste products.

Rohit ThapaProgramme Manager

Rohit was a Teach for India Fellow, where he contributed to the wholesome development of the students in a Municipal School in Delhi. His fellowship experience includes various projects with Central Square Foundation, Gandhi Ashram School and Books For All. He has also worked as a Marketing Head at Khwaab Welfare Trust, a women empowerment initiative. Rohit is a graduate in Economics from Delhi University, after which he worked with a health consultancy. He is an MBA in Marketing & H.R from University of Hyderabad. Rohit likes to indulge in philosophical inquiries, play volleyball and loves singing.

Sushanth Nambiar Programme Manager

Before joining ISLI, Sushanth worked as a Teach For India Fellow in Hyderabad. He taught a class of 50+ children and created multiple programs wherein children could work on their individual talents and then perform in larger settings. The two years that he spent there gave him his first insights into the education system and what it can mean to bring out the unique potential of each and every child.  Prior to that he played competitive tennis for 8 years, rising as high as the lower professional domain. He has a masters degree in philosophy and public policy from the London School of Economics.  He also loves physical-fitness activities, organizing game-nights, watching movies and sitcoms, reading detective novels and books on systems thinking.

Sai Pramod BathenaProgramme Lead

Pramod is an Engineer by profession but chose social engineering as a career. Pramod comes to ISLI from Teach for India. As a TFI Fellow, he taught grade 2 and 3 in a low income private school in Hyderabad. Prior to that, he worked in varied capacities in education as well as skill development sectors. He was an Assistant Professor in an engineering college, trainer at young leadership camps for underprivileged youth and a coach for civil services aspirants. Pramod is passionate about politics and public policy.

Srividya Sunkesula Programme Manager

Srividya is a mechanical engineering graduate. Her passion to explore the Education sector motivated her to join Teach for India fellowship.

She loves painting and spends most of her free time gardening.
