We focus on low-income schools. We have reached over 1,400 schools and 5.3 lakh students across Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
The program comprises of workshop training followed by in-school support by a dedicated City Program Manager (CPM) to help School Leaders implement the learnings from the workshop.
School Leaders visit high performing schools and observe best practices to understand how they function and what makes them successful.
Our City Program Managers (CPMs) assist the School Leaders in collecting teacher-feedback and conducting effective lesson observations.
Our program helps School Leaders evaluate the performance of their schools and set achievable targets and goals to work towards.
Our instructional workshops happen once in every 45 days. Sessions include self evaluation, providing feedback to teachers, shared leadership, teaching strategies, parent and student engagement.
We help School Leaders sustain best practices in schools via a community of ISLI Program Managers and other School Leaders for continuous support and motivation.
The ISLI curriculum is inspired by some of the best training institutions globally like New York Leadership Academy, Ontario’s Institute for Education Leadership, and KIPP School Leadership Program. ISLI works with the Akanksha Foundation for the curricular framework and on-board faculty support.
A typical cohort includes school owners, principals, head teachers, academic coordinators as well as ascensions in-charge. They come from low-income private and public schools.
Our program is based on adult-learning principles and is primarily self-led. Each School Leader designs their own School Development Plans with constant support from ISLI Program Managers.
Share your details to schedule an introductory in-person meeting with our team at your school. Once you successfully complete the form, an ISLI representative will reach out to you within 3-4 working days to plan next steps.
